Problem Note 66817: SASĀ® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.2 - Identically named data sets can result in misleading data display issues
In SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.2, misleading data displays can occur in a very specific scenario where two identically named SAS data sets (which reside in different physical locations) are open and processed separately within the UI.
For example, you have two identically named SAS data sets (ds1), which reside in separate path/folder locations X and Y and are open within the UI:
- For data set ds1 in location X, if you apply a filter query, you obtain a result for ds1 in location X based on the query criteria.
- For data set ds1 in location Y, if you apply a separate filter query, you obtain a result based on the contents of ds1 in location X instead of ds1 in location Y.
This issue is corrected with hot-fix patch 5.2.2a.
